Chapter 01: The Spark

Karlo and Mikee first crossed paths in the most modern way possible — through a dating app, back in 2012. Karlo came across Mikee’s profile, felt an instant spark of admiration, and swiped right.

Did they match?
Sadly… no.
Sometimes, timing has its own plans.

Chapter 02: The Destiny

Fast forward to 2017. Karlo had just started working at a new office. One afternoon during lunch, a coworker casually mentioned the name of someone who had recently been interviewed.

Mikee Sanchez.

Karlo instantly recognized the name. Without hesitation, he confidently said, “I know this girl. We’re friends.”

Truth is, they weren’t.
Not yet.
But if that isn’t destiny quietly nudging two people closer, we’re not sure what is.

Chapter 03. The First Date

Days later, they actually became friends. And somehow, that friendship slowly blossomed into love. In April 2017, Karlo and Mikee went on their first date.

You would expect a romantic dinner with a view?
Too predictable.

Instead, they chose to have dinner in complete darkness at a restaurant called Dine in the Dark. No sight. No screens. Just voices, laughter, and a growing connection.

Perhaps it was the perfect way to begin their story. Learning early on that even without seeing clearly, they would always find their way to the light.
