When they say, careful what you wish for, you might actually get it. That's what happened to me and traditional weddings. Now I'm hooked!
Here's a continuation for the story of Bobby & Priska, who's imagination for their portraiture 'Alice in wonderland' got me on my toes. I love shooting for them since day one. So I've been waiting for this moment to shoot their wedding day. Sacred traditions, family bonding and their cheerful personality blended together making this a one of a kind wedding.
We just finished our very first AXIOO Cinematography solo exhibition at Pacific Place Ballroom Ritz Carlton! I personally would like to thank all of you who took the time or had the opportunity to visit our booth during that 4 days. For those of you who missed it, we filled our walls with digital video frames of video montage of our wedding and pre-wedding moments, along with some time lapse that we took over the years. Thanks to Felicia Soong and the creative department who came up with the brilliant idea and initial concept, it looked real good on the drawing, but the real thing was much much better. In fact, it was breathtaking! We'll upload some of the pics of our booth a bit later.
But for now, I'd like to share with you our centerpiece of what we showed in our exhibition. It's a kaleidoscope of our work through the years, showcasing some of the most beautiful moments we shared with our clients. Many thanks to our clients for those wonderful times you've allowed us to share with you on your special day.
Nothing's ever higher on the list than LOVE. Coz after all it's all about LOVE. Cheers!
When I hear their story, I knew they are so made for each other. Handy & Stephanie knew each other before they could speak full sentences. Believe it or not they knew each other since kindergarden, then both went to the same primary school. During high school they took their friendship to another level and they have been together ever since. How sweet is that?
We certainly got our plates full this month. We're in the midst of our first major production making our first short movie "Love Was Love Is", our editors are busy editing all the wedding that we've shot in the last month, our Cinematographers are flying around shooting Pre-wedding videos. And now, we have to add a little bit more pressure to ourselves by having our first Video solo exhibition in Ritz Carlton Pacific Place starting tomorrow the 7th - 10th April 2011. So basically, everyone in our office feels a little pressure, but I think I speak for everyone, that our pressure cannot compare to our feeling of excitement because tomorrow we're going to have our work shown in the exhibition.
So, I'm going to share a little bit of a teaser of one of our pre-wedding movies that we're going to show at the exhibition tomorrow. It's a pre-wedding movie of Joshua and Jessica that we shot in the U.S. Thanks to both Josh and Jess for letting us use their movie for this exhibition! I hope to see you guys there at Pacific Place Ritz Carlton Ballroom during our exhibition!

Beware these images will make you fall head over heels over the intimate wedding of Nicholas & Natasha. This is the dream wedding for many couples and also a heaven for photographer. I love love love shooting small weddings. How many times have I said that? The intense intimate bonding between friends and family makes small wedding a heartwarming celebration. I also love the Do-it-yourself element of this wedding. Natasha and friends add a layer of playfulness and creativity by handing out bow ties to guest, handmade tea bags as souvenirs, and beach side decoration for the photo booth.
There's so much to tell about Gunawan & Lila. I totally heart shooting for you. I knew from the first time we met, this is going to be an awesome session, full of wacky shots. I love it that they just love being who they are, no pretense, and both went all out to have fun.
Yes that's a quirky title, you'll find out soon what it means :) Here's to the story of Rayn & Lisa who's been dating for eight years since they first met in the University of New South Wales. It's fate that brought them together, if not what else could unite a Malaysian with a pretty girl from Hongkong?
Hey guys, looks like I haven't been posting a blog for a while. It's time to get the ball rolling. Let me introduce you to this funky couple Kenny & Herni, my very first client from Pekanbaru. As usual we get to meet months before shooting for their pre-wedding, discussing ideas that suit them. I was delighted when we proved Kenny wrong. He once told me that his best angle is when he's not looking in the camera, that's not true bro...you look great! Perhaps thanks to the contagious excitement from Herni who has been so looking forward for this shoot.
Welcoming Dre to the Axioo family! We are thrilled to shout the good news. Not only is he an amazingly gifted photographer, he's also a super cool guy.

We first got to know Edric and Anita during the pre-wedding trip to South Africa, and we know how fun and loving they are as a couple, so we're very excited to shoot their wedding in Bali. Both of them were hoping to get a more intimate and relaxed feel having their wedding in Bali, and we wanted to make sure that it translated that way in our shots. One thing that got us excited was that we know that Edric was planning a surprise for Anita on their big day, so we decided that this would be the centerpiece of the same day edit.
Well the big day came and everything went beautifully. Anita received the surprised and straight away she broke into tears as she was reading Edric's heart poured into the beautiful letter he wrote, the only one that complained was the make up maestro, Mr. Peter Saerang because he had to retouch the ruined make up again (just kidding).
When you have your wedding in Bali, the thing that you really pray for is for a nice weather. And God answered Edric and Anita's prayers on this day as the day was beautiful the whole day and it stayed dry throughout the wedding reception at night. It seemed as if everything had worked together magically to set up a beautiful wedding on that day. When I was standing there looking at all the people enjoying themselves and pondered back at all the beautiful things that has happened that day, I could only say to myself, that this has been a blessed day in Bali.
