Ken first laid eyes on Melissa in San Francisco. They lived nearby and they hung out with similar groups of people so their paths often crossed. Melissa is the sweet girl who believes in fairy tales, romantic love stories, and having desserts for dinner. Ken is the erratic bachelor who enjoys soccer and bowling and believes that good food is great for the soul. They may be different, but as they got to know each other, the attraction grew stronger, until Ken finally stole her heart.

Those that came to our Wedding Exhibition at Ritz Carlton Pacific Place recently, had the opportunity to get the first peek of our Full Production movie, The Race. Different from our usual Pre Wedding Movies, this one we went all out in our our Production and Post-Production process. And instead of trying to tell you every little details in words, I'll just let you guys watch the movie for yourself.

Yohanes is one of those guys who left a little of his heart in the city of angels. He found himself within the wall of his University campus and grew up within the borders of Los Angeles. When he found Jessica, the one he wanted to spend eternity with, he wanted to take her to the city that still calls his heart and introduced her the places that made him the person he is today.

Shau Fun first caught Kent’s eye in December 2006 ago when she was interning at his office. He was the career driven executive who often worked until 3 am on a daily basis, and she was the attractive one who drove him to coming up with a few silly excuses just so he can spend some time with her. He finally worked up the courage to ask her out at the end of her internship period, where he took her for a dinner and a movie. He took her to see “Blood Diamond”.

Hong Kong has always draws out whatever artistic side I have in me. The vibes I got from standing in the vibrant city seems to challenge me to capture every corner of it. I love the hectic city scene, the colorful trams and the beautiful bay captured from Stanley Street. And by crossing on the ferry to the old city of Macau, it’s as if I’ve entered another world, and I instantly fell in love with the remnants of the Portuguese culture and the vintage buildings. I think that this is the best part of shooting while traveling.

Life has a funny way for surprises. Agung and Anita’s families have known each other for the longest time, but Agung and Anita didn’t know each other. They know the members of each other’s inner circle and yet their paths have never crossed each other’s before. Until one day, as if it was somehow pre-arranged by the universe, they met.

I was over the moon to hear that I will be shooting Ardie and Febe. You see, Ardie and I crossed paths a few months back and I found out that he was an art major. Shooting for a fellow artist is both a scary and exhilarating proposition. It’s like trying to cook a dish for a professional chef, and crossing your two fingers (or maybe four?) and hope that he likes it.

I've known both Lewin & Meily for a while now, way before their wedding day. A number of my previous clients are their closest friends too, so they have attended a few weddings of which I was the photographer. Over the last few years I've had many photos of them, some more proper formal shots during the reception, some when they party with lots of shots. So it's only a matter of time for me to hear the good news. Yes, finally it's their turn to get married.

I’ve heard people say that when a couple looks alike, they are meant to be. I guess it must be true in the case of Hanssen and Mercy, because the first time we met, I honestly thought they were related.

Hanssen and Mercy began their love story quite some time ago in college. Mercy was a campus beauty, in fact one of the most beautiful girls in her year, and Hanssen was one who loved a challenge. He showered her with gifts and flowers and all the romantics that you can possibly think of until he finally won her over.

I meet couples with touching love stories everyday doing what I do. But every now and then I get the privilege to meet couples who shares a funny moment like Arifin and Jessica.
