It’s always such a pleasure to be a part of a friend’s wedding. More than knowing almost everyone of the bridal party, the intimacy of the day just makes capturing it even more attractive. I’ve known Danang and Ruth for a while now, we were friends since Danang and I were both single men on the prowl, going after the women who have now became our life partner. And after all that they’ve been through, it is such a joy to see that Danang and Ruth have finally made it to the altar!

In our lives we are faced with decisions that we have to make everyday. And most of the time the way we make up a decision is we weigh the positives, and the negatives and make our decision based on that fact. But sometimes, some of the decisions that we have to make in our lives are not that simple, especially if the word LOVE has anything to do with it. This particular story is about making such decisions, when we decide to do something just because our hearts feel right, even though your logic and reasons tell you otherwise.

Christian & Melvina were both born in Surabaya. But when Christian got his job, he moved to Ternate. If you don't know Ternate, it is an island in the Maluku Islands (Moluccas) of eastern Indonesia. Although separated by miles apart, nothing can stop them from falling in love with each other. And though they know the challenges of having a long distance relationship, still kept their love for each other strong.

Another big decision came at the time when Christian proposed to Melvina. Christian asked Melvina to move with him to Ternate after the wedding. It was definitely a big decision for Melvina, she was asked to move out of her comfort zone to be with the one she loves deeply. After a careful thought and deliberation with her mom, Melvina finally followed her heart and said yes to moving with Christian to Ternate, leaving her friends and families in Surabaya to start their new family together in the Eastern part of Indonesia.

One thing I've always believe, is that when everything else seemed like a blur and you're not sure which decision to take, always follow your heart. Once again congratulation to both of you. Here's to making a heart decision!

Dream Weddings Do Come True.

Sweet, romantic, calm, supportive, fun, and intimate, those are the words that came into my head when I captured their dream wedding. It's actually Shau Fun's dream wedding (well I think lots of girls' dream wedding as well).

I remember the first time I met Kent and Shau Fun, my very first impression was Kent and Shau Fun is a very romantic and fun couple. Ken himself is very active and driven. His love of sport, esp. badminton drove him to be a very good badminton player. In fact, it was this same drive that got him his dream girl, and his dream wedding. The first time Kent expressed his feeling towards Shau Fan, he got a silent and cold treatment from her. But that didn't stop the driven guy as he kept his faith in getting her. As we all can see, his faith and drive bore fruit as he finally was able to tie the knot with his dream girl and he got his dream wedding.

What I like most about their wedding was the attention to details, all the little things that they prepared, and also, the fact that most of their friends were very supportive and crazy at the same time. Not only that, Kent and Shau Fun surprised everyone with their attractive dancing which they really put effort into. It was a nice change of pace as most of the time we see the couple doing a slow first dance, but Kent and Shau Fun gave a high energy, fast paced, electrifying dance!

Kent and Shau Fun, I would like to congratulate you both for your dream wedding. I believe that after this you both would build for yourselves a dream family as well. Wishing you a veryyy loooooonnnnngggggg "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......(unlimited)mmmmmmm Seng!"

Happy Weekends guys! All this time we've shown you countless movie trailers and same day edits of weddings we are honored to shoot. But what we've not shown in our blog is a full movie that we usually give only to our clients. The main reason is that it's usually much longer than trailers or same day edits, we're worried that it would take too long to load, and also, the word 'boring' always comes to mind when watching a full long movie.

So at the beginning of the year, we gave all all our editors a simple challenge, to make the long full movie of a wedding as attractive and beautiful as a wedding trailer or a same day edit, but yet captures the essence and tells the complete story of the wedding. We know that this is not a simple task, so for the next few months our editors gave their best to make the full movie better and better. After a while, the efforts slowly began to show in their work. And recently, one of our editors Vero Joo, turned Ayu and Haryo Wedding movie into a really beautiful masterpiece. The wedding was already beautiful in itself, it has all the materials to be an ideal wedding, everything of that wedding was just perfectly beautiful. But Vero did an excellent job in putting together all the beautiful materials and turning it into an excellent movie. We are so proud of the edit that we decided to do something that we usually don't do, that's to show a long movie in our blog!

So, we hope you guys can take the time to watch the clip. For some who has a slower internet connection, this might take a while so be prepared to let it load for a bit before watching it. But what I can guarantee you is that this movie will be worth the wait! Enjoy!

I’d like to think that laid-back weddings in intimate settings are where it’s at nowadays. There is just so much life to be experienced, so much details to be captured, within an environment that is not-so orchestrated. I’d like to think that it’s the emotions that are left to flow on its own, inspired by the love that surrounds them, that makes these celebrations of life so memorable.

Ajin is a really good friend of mine when I stayed in Holland. He is a very friendly and helpful person. Six years have passed since I moved away from Holland, and last year he told me that he had proposed to Chariz and they were planning to get married in 2012. Right away I remembered that I promised him 7 years ago, that if he got married with someone I would attend his wedding and help him with his wedding, and that is a promise I intend to keep. So there I was 7 years later, fulfilling my promise to my friend, and celebrating the happiest day of his life with him. I felt so blessed that I could get back and have a reunion with my old friends. By the way, his name is Ajin Man Tuladhar, yes he is now a 'Man' :p

Ajin, is a Genius, he is super talented in computer matters. He is a harworking person and he always wants to be the best in everything he does. Cha, on the other hand is a very loyal, humble and cheerful person, she loves to take care of Ajin. I could see by how she treats her family that she is very wonderful girl. They both met for the first time in Holland, while Cha is studying in Enshede, Holland. It was love at first sight for Ajin as he fell in love with her since they both first met. After 3+ years they finally decided to tie the knots.

Congratulation Ajin + Cha, wishing you a happy married life, have lots of kids of Ajin Jr. or Cha Jr!

The epic love story of Andika and Vony began like your usual couple – they met, they fell in love, and they began dating each other. Four years down the road, they realized that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives making each other happy. But just as Andika was about to propose, they encountered the ultimate test of true love. Vony’s father disapproved of their marriage and she was kidnapped by one of his bodyguards. In attempt to save the woman he loves, Andika had to fight and agreed to the race of his life: a tuk-tuk race.

This is the first time for me shooting an engagement party in Palembang. I'm always excited to go to a new place or city for a shoot, but this time, we as a team got a real treat. I got really really excited the day when we had our pictorial shoot in a little forest in the middle of the city. We were treated with a really good looking couple surrounded by the fresh green woods, a warm breeze of Palembang and beautiful rays of the sun that shines through the leaves, everything was beyond words, especially Valentine who is breathtakingly stunning in her red dress as they rode through the forest in their nice old Vespa. Most importantly, I get to witness two lovebirds who couldn't take their eyes off each other unveiling their love story through their incredible chemistry towards each other. Shooting this couple reminds me why I LOVE my job!

After the shoot we went straight to the hotel for rehearsal. I'm surprised by how relaxed everyone is, how camera friendly everyone is and how beautiful the whole atmosphere of the engagement is. Not to forget to mention how cool the decoration is and how friendly and helpful the Wedding Planner is (Henry and Heniy from H20).

There were countless beautiful moments that we were able to capture that day, but to me and my team, the most beautiful moment was when they were watching the Same Day Edit that we played during the reception. Watching the two lovebirds' expressions is a feeling beyond words for us. Thankfully, we have their expressions as they were watching the clip captured so we can share it with you guys!

Henry and Valentine, congratulations for the upcoming wedding! I can't wait to see you guys your love for eternity. Many luv from us!

Have you ever felt that the world keeps getting smaller and smaller? Capturing Dion and Vivi's wedding was like capturing a friend's wedding. The familiar faces and the friendly smiles were heartwarming. Dion and I shared the same mutual friends when we were in Seattle, but for some strange reasons, we have never crossed paths until his wedding day.

When you shoot weddings as often as I do, you might think that the events get blurry after a while, right? But you know what, they don’t. There is always a pull in the event, a certain attraction that is different every time, that draws you into the moment and leaves you with a memory, even the slightest one.

Fergus and Yelli’s I will always remember. I remember their names, because Fergus is one I don’t hear too often. And then I remember their wedding. It was a fun and surprising one.
