It's been a while back since we shot Robert & Devina's wedding in Surabaya, but we know for those planning a wedding, having a good reference like this one is timeless. I love the intricate layers of Devina's wedding dress by Biyan. Actually their wedding was featured earlier in Bazaar wedding Indonesia.

What can I say? I totally enjoy shooting traditional wedding. There's so much details to shoot, so many stories to tell, in so many different ways. I sincerely believe our rich Indonesian heritage is something we should be proud of. It's easy for us to accept new cultures, especially the Western wedding style that is simpler and not so elaborate. When planning your wedding, don't forget your roots, explore your own culture and traditions making it a one of a kind wedding.

My first video blog entry in 2011! We shot so many great weddings in 2010, and in the midst of all the glamor and luxury, sometimes we can lose the real meaning of a wedding. I thought it would be nice to start the year by reminding ourselves what a wedding is meant to be, and it's hard to really put it into words. But I think this wedding in Bandung summarizes what i really want to say.

I've shot a much more glamorous weddings, much more beautiful locations, much bigger crowds before, but shooting Alvin and Juliana's wedding is one that I would remember a long time. How could I forget moments of Alvin's parents combing Alvin's hair symbolically for the last time while saying a prayer for him, and when Juliana's parents closed her wedding veil brought so many memories of them and made them all teary, and moments when Alvin expressed how much he loved Juliana.

It was a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding. It was a day of love, it was a day when love was expressed. Congrats to both Alvin and Juliana, may your days be filed with love.

We totally adore Eliz & Hardy's wedding. She's so adorably gorgeous...i don't know if that word exist, but if it did that would describe Eliz. People say that brides 'glow' on their wedding day. And I agree, especially for Eliz. Throughout the day she's beaming with laughter, enjoying every moment of it. Also thanks to her sisters who provides constant jokes to keep her company.

At a first glance, you wouldn't have guessed that this couple is super wacky, super friendly and super cool. Hats off to these two as they kept us laughing shooting them the whole day. And we certainly left our mark in ST Regis Singapore as we partied the night away.

Because of the amount of weddings I had to shoot these few months, I didn't get the chance to meet with all of the couples before their big day. Like Adenan and Angeline, I didn't get the chance to meet with them until the morning of their wedding in Bali. As it turned out Adenan's sisters were friends of mine back in my high school days and Angeline's brother was a friend of mine whom i haven't met for a long time. What a pleasant surprise. Needless to say, we connected right away.

So in that extremely beautiful sunny (and hot) day we partied, Bali style! Adenan, or Nanan is an extrovert who loves to party, in fact, his whole family really knows how to have fun and party! And together with Angeline, who's always up for anything fun, they make a perfect couple for us to shoot on their big day.

So we had plenty of fun the whole day, endured the heat of the afternoon, and we partied the night away. All in all, i'd say it was a typical AXIOO kinda day.. Cheers to the happy couple Nanan and Angel!

These two love birds had their pre-wedding photo session taken in Melbourne a while back, now you get to see a snapshot of their wedding day. It was a lovely day. The bride, Intan wore refreshing color dress in the morning, not your typical wedding. Then for the evening ceremony she opted for a more elegant wedding dress that wowed us all.

With Christmas coming up, I'm reminded of the song "Santa Claus is coming to town". So we're also making a list checking it twice, and oops looks like we've been rather naughty to have left out quite a number of weddings that has not been posted on our blog. It's a shame to keep all these to ourselves, so why not share it with the world. Especially this intimate wedding of Phoebe & Dan :)

We first met Jeanny during a gig we did together in Bali. I was shooting for Lydia & Benny's wedding, while she did a stunning decor, and even dressed up to attend the wedding. I was amazed at how much details she put into making that wedding a success. Running back and forth to multiple venues, she managed to surprise all of us with a romantic decor in the chapel and the garden reception. I knew I would work together with her a whole lot more. After a few times bumping into each other in Bali, she then told me that she's getting married.

Last weekend we shot one of our most memorable and emotional weddings. Not just because the couple was so cool, and the parents and family were super nice, but also because we were shooting one of our own family, yep, AXIOO video dept. BIG happy family.

Caterine, or Atin joined us the beginning of this year, and straight away made an impact to the team. Coming from advertisement background, she brought with her the speed and the cinematographic standard of advertisement into our video edits. Not only was she excellent in her work, she was also one of the nicest person to be around with. In short, we absolutely love her!

Last weekend we drove to Bandung to shoot her 2 days wedding celebration. And yes, we wanted it to be special for her, so we put our heads together to come up with something that would be memorable for her, it's the least that we can do for her after all the things that she had given to our company.

We just want to say again congratulations to both of you David and Caterine, may you find the joy of discovering each other every single day of your lives together.
