Anoop & Kiran

I have always been fascinated by Indian weddings after watching "Bend it Like Beckham" and "Monsoon Weddings". It was like a dream come true when i found out that i will be documenting the wedding of Anoop and Kiran.

Unggul & Novieta

On the day of the wedding, I stood by at Novieta’s house, capturing moments as she got ready to meet her groom, to be joined together as one later that day. She was so calmed and composed that I recalled thinking she was one of the readiest bride I’ve ever met. A few hours later, her groom arrived and her glow made her even more beautiful. She became chattier, more spontaneous with her words and she suddenly made the ambiance around her more vibrant. This was the real her, I thought. Her man arrived and made her let loose all tension.

Kelvan & Catherine

This is a long overdue post – because the happy couple have just welcomed their baby boy a few months ago – but since their wedding is one of my favorites, I’m going to go ahead and post it anyway.

I remember that it was a breeze to shoot their wedding. Kelvan and Catherine both looked great from any angle. Their joy and confidence just shines through every shoot. Their Bali wedding was an intimate one, a celebration with just close relatives and a few friends. We had a great weather and the day was just a marvelous as we had hoped it to be.

AXIOO Video Kaleidoscope 2012

Hello all!

So, our office today is busy unpacking all the stuffs that we brought to display in our latest Bazaar Exhibition in Pacific Place. I'd like to take this time to thank all of those who made time to visit our booth (a really huge one) during the exhibition. I could still remember 3 months ago when we first sat down to discuss about this exhibition. And for that 3 months we were busy selecting, making and designing what we would be displaying for the exhibition.

To us, an exhibition is not just a time when we can show to everyone what we have done in the past year or so. But it also serves as a Milestone for us, a point where we can see how far we've gone from the last Milestone, most importantly, it is a point that figuratively marks an ending of a chapter, and the beginning of a new chapter. So having this exhibition so early in the year is excellent!

So as we're unpacking the stuffs from our exhibition, I see that our design maestro, Fen Fen is already re-decorating our office in a new awesome way, and all of us in the office are doing evaluation on what we've accomplished up to this point of time, as well as strategizing for the rest of 2012 and years ahead. All in all, we're excited of what's ahead. So many new things stuffs to look forward to, until we reach our next Milestone.

And like last year, we put together a kaleidoscope, to appreciate our clients that we've shot in the year of 2011 up to now. Your moments have defined for us what Love Is.

Enjoy the clip guys.

Cheers

Anthonny & Natalia

I’ve always been challenged to shoot weddings, challenged to capture every detail and every emotion on the couple’s most beautiful day. I find that the best way to capture a great wedding is through strong team work. Usually shooting the essences is done by the first and second photographer, with the help of a few other photographers. So before we set out to do weddings, we hold a briefing where we discuss the rundown of the event and coordinate the roles of everyone on the team. But the thing about weddings, there’s always a lot of the unexpected to be expected, which is so exciting for me.

Nico & Micheala

Sometimes, in the middle of a life-changing moment, I found that people can get caught up in the stress and hassle of it all or get carried away by the emotional roller coaster that took them to get there. I am so glad to see that this was not the case for Nicolas and Micheala (or more casually known as Nico and Sela to their friends). This fun-loving couple seemed to have taken the day so lightly; going with the flow and enjoying every moment.

Memories of that beautiful December day in Jerusalem will always linger in my mind. Now as I write, I still remember their vows, the unlikely clear December sky, and the intimate moments shared on that blessed day.

Anthony + Irene Wedding Trailer

Written and Directed by: Yosep Sugiarto

Anthony & Irene are very friendly and fun to be with. They both love eating and hanging around with friends. As a matter of fact, these are the things that I love most about them, that they love eating and hanging out with friends.

We got a chance to shoot their BIG days. Yes, it was more than a day of celebration. Their first celebration was their wedding day in Jakarta on the 6th February 2012, held in one of the most gorgeous place you can have your wedding celebration ever. Then they have their second party at Ayana, Bali on 13th March 2012, just for their friends who are mostly from San Francisco. Most of them flew more than 20+ hours of flight just to attend their wedding. And I could see the reason why their friends are willing to do that as both Antony and Irene are such friendly and wonderful people to be around with. I think we can all agree that the atmosphere that night was incredibly awesome, lots of hugs and laughters as we all enjoy not only the beautiful venue, but also the closeness and the bond of their friendship. Both parties were filled with beautiful and precious moments, they way we like to shoot our weddings.

Wishing you both a happy married life and thank you for being such good friends to us. Let's hang out again! Cheers!

Franky + Verlin Same Day Edit

Directed and written by: Garry Valentino

How do you find your soulmate? Don't worry, sometimes she comes to pick you up. :)

For Franky, it all started when Verlin had to pick him up at the airport almost 2 years ago, they have never met before, except during their early years of childhood when their parents had a gathering. The only reason Verlin picked him up was because her mom told her to do so.

The first time they met at the airport, Franky suddenly gave Verlin a big hug and a kiss like they are already friends for a long time. And of course Verlin didn't anticipate it coming at all. Yeaa, that's Franky, a big friendly guy who loves playing basketball (and you know what? He's good at it! You can tell from the last scene of the movie) which explains to me why the last time I met them at Axioo's office he had a hard time walking due to an injury to his ankle, thank God he recovered in time for his big day.

Time goes by and it doesn't take too long for Franky to know that she's the ONE. Surrounded by a big loving family and friends, their wedding day was so enjoyable for us to shoot. And not forgetting the 'precious' moment on the court when Franky did a nasty thing...lol:) The best thing was that it was caught on camera!

SPANKratulation Guys! Wishing the both of you the best stuffs in life!
