This has been a long-time coming.

Having done quite a number of weddings and portrait sessions here in Indonesia, we could say that we have learn so much in the progress. Things that we picked up on the way, things that we learn from others, and things that we discovered ourselves.

Time flies, it seems like "Happy New Year" was just yesterday and before we know it we've passed Valentine's Day 2012. We want to inform you of the trips that we will be making this year. So sorry that it took us so long to let you in on our plans. Apparently scheduling for FIVE photographers and synchronizing the best of each season in the countries we'll be visiting is quite a challenge, but it's all worth it. This year we've included more trips to more places than ever before. So feel free to choose your favorite photographer ;)

As a photographer, I have tried my hand shooting many things — nature, fashion, editorial etc. I love shooting a variety as it helps keep myself fresh, but the one thing that continues to stick out in my mind and ring true to my heart is capturing the essence of couples in love on their wedding day. Being a hopeless romantic, I find passion witnessing and to be a part of the biggest commitment a person will make in their lifetime. What a privilege!

Over the last few years, Axioo has been synonymous with fun, playful, lively, and a little insane group of people. We consist of not only photographers, but also graphic designers, videographers, editors, stylists, sales, in-house chef and the whole shebang. Once in a while you should come over our studio for a meet & greet session. Before that, here's a little video of our last outing trip to Bangkok, a glimpse of who are the people behind Axioo. And yes, we have more ladies in the team ;)

This clip was taken sometime back in February during our trip to Bangkok, it's quite a while ago. I didn't even remember Garry and the video team recorded this. It cracks me when I first saw it. What a hilarious bunch of clowns we are. Warning, nothing is scripted, it is what it is. Some scenes reminded me of Fear Factor, so if you're squeamish about eating insects, you might want to skip parts of the video.

Hey guys, this is Dre again! It has been about five months since my family and I moved to Indonesia from the States. How time flies! The U.S. has been home to my family and I for the past thirteen years. And those were memorable thirteen years!

We just finished our very first AXIOO Cinematography solo exhibition at Pacific Place Ballroom Ritz Carlton! I personally would like to thank all of you who took the time or had the opportunity to visit our booth during that 4 days. For those of you who missed it, we filled our walls with digital video frames of video montage of our wedding and pre-wedding moments, along with some time lapse that we took over the years. Thanks to Felicia Soong and the creative department who came up with the brilliant idea and initial concept, it looked real good on the drawing, but the real thing was much much better. In fact, it was breathtaking! We'll upload some of the pics of our booth a bit later.

But for now, I'd like to share with you our centerpiece of what we showed in our exhibition. It's a kaleidoscope of our work through the years, showcasing some of the most beautiful moments we shared with our clients. Many thanks to our clients for those wonderful times you've allowed us to share with you on your special day.

Nothing's ever higher on the list than LOVE. Coz after all it's all about LOVE. Cheers!

We certainly got our plates full this month. We're in the midst of our first major production making our first short movie "Love Was Love Is", our editors are busy editing all the wedding that we've shot in the last month, our Cinematographers are flying around shooting Pre-wedding videos. And now, we have to add a little bit more pressure to ourselves by having our first Video solo exhibition in Ritz Carlton Pacific Place starting tomorrow the 7th - 10th April 2011. So basically, everyone in our office feels a little pressure, but I think I speak for everyone, that our pressure cannot compare to our feeling of excitement because tomorrow we're going to have our work shown in the exhibition.

So, I'm going to share a little bit of a teaser of one of our pre-wedding movies that we're going to show at the exhibition tomorrow. It's a pre-wedding movie of Joshua and Jessica that we shot in the U.S. Thanks to both Josh and Jess for letting us use their movie for this exhibition! I hope to see you guys there at Pacific Place Ritz Carlton Ballroom during our exhibition!
