Live Your DreamsVanessa Beauty Portraits by Fen
For me, June has always meant one thing: Graduation. Even after years, June has always held that special significance for me. It's a relief point. All the assignments have been turned in and all the exams have been taken. A new season awaits. A new chapter. A new adventure. And twenty years later, June still leaves me with that tingling feeling I know so well.
In a few weeks some of you will be wearing that graduation gown and wearing your almamater's badge one last time. Some of you will be turning in your high school uniforms and get your wardrobes ready for college. Some of you will finally be entering the brave new world, no longer a student on campus, but a student of life. But whatever you will become after this month is done, be sure to remember this: live your dreams.
Go out there, live it. Break the rules. Forgive quickly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that made you smile. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Discover. Don't wake up twenty years from today disappointed by all the things you didn't do. Dream big. And make it all come true.
For everyone graduating this year, here is to you! Good luck!
On another note, happy birthday to the sweetest, most adorable chick, Vanessa Edwin. The world is waiting for you to make all that you've ever dreamed of a reality.
