There two words that come to mind when I think of these two: generous and thoughtful. My wife and I will always remember the time Ronald and Yusi met us at the airport upon our arrival in Perth for their pre-wedding session. It was a day after our wedding anniversary, and they surprised us with a freshly baked batch of macaroons with letters spelling out “Happy Anniversary”. It was a gesture so heartwarming to us. In this day and age where text messages have replaced personal phone calls and where social media shout outs have replaced the traditional greeting cards, this was totally unexpected and admittedly touching.  It is likely to stay with us for a long time coming. Thank you again, Ronald and Yusi.

Ronald and Yusi both live in Perth and wanted to have their pre-wedding portraits taken in the city that holds most of their memories together. They knew the city inside out like the back of their hands, and we were up for anything, so we left it to them to choose the locations for their portraits. It was these places that witnessed a part of their story together. My absolute favorite has got to be the ones taken nearby Margaret River Wineries. We had the perfect weather and the vibrant autumn leaves that added to the romance.

As I write this, I am on a plane bound for Perth to shoot for their wedding day. I am excited to be a witness as they finally tie the knot. And I am even more excited about letting the whole world know that they finally did it!

Congratulations Ronald & Yusi. Here’s to your happily ever after!

Cheers,

David
