Hello everyone. It's been a while since I last published a wedding post and I'm quite excited to be sharing this one with you. Erwin and Velly's wedding have a lasting imprint on my memory particularly because it had a lot of "firsts" for me.
First of all, it was not your average Bali wedding. Most people would opt for a laid-back agenda during their wedding weekend in Bali, but not these two. They made most out of the day with a lot of events and activities, but you know what... it didn't diminish the idea of a laid-back Bali wedding at all! It's the Bali air that makes everything feel relaxing no matter what goes on in your day. Secondly, it was the first Buddhist matrimony that I ever shot outdoor. It was awesome, simply heartwarming, and their love was celebrated by everyone who attended. And of course, after the ceremony, they had a blast celebrating the day with their friends and family. Their wedding was like none I've ever attended, and I'm sure I can't think of a more beautiful way for them to kick off their journey together.
So after being a part of their wedding day, my take is this: weddings are supposed to be an occasion for sharing happiness with the people closest to you, so make it your own. Don't be swayed by what people say or do, but let your personalities be printed everywhere on that day. It's your day, so make it yours!
Congratulations again to Erwin and Velly! Have a blessed marriage!
Cheers,
Ivan
