They say that great pictures are determined by two factors: the subject and the photographer. I say it’s a joint effort of the two. And that’s how I would like to describe Ricky and Amanda’s wedding day. It is such an honor to shoot for this gorgeous couple. I can’t stop clicking the shutter at the sight of this beautiful bride and her attractive groom. They both look great from any angle and we have fun trying out different poses that brings out the better of the two. My absolute favorite picture has got to be the portrait of Amanda (picture 04). She is just stunning!

The wedding took place at the grand ballroom of The Mulia Hotel. Decorations with a touch of purple have always been my favorite because it brings out the glamorous feel. And they have just enough to transform the whole ballroom into a place so romantic – not too much, everything was just nice.

I think the best moment during the entire wedding day has got to be their first dance. As their dance was nearing to an end, everyone else danced along with them. The guests spontaneously put their feet on the dance floor and joined in the waltz, even the bridal parents. It was an awesome sight to see, just like in the cartoons, where the joy and romance of their wedding is felt deep in the hearts of everyone there, and they had no choice but follow a calling to dance.

I hope these pictures can transport you to their wedding and for Ricky and Amanda, may you live out these beautiful moments again and again.

Cheers,
Paulus
