I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I also find new lessons on love doing what I do, and for this I am grateful. I first met Charles and Vania at AXIOO’s exhibition in Surabaya. They were a sweet, kind and good looking couple from the start. But as I got to know them, I learned about how they finally made it to their wedding day.
Charles and Vania first met through mutual friends and at that first instant he laid eyes on her, Charles knew that he was going to spend the rest of his life with her. But as their relationship grew and somehow pressure got in the way, Charles addressed his boyish ways and wanted to call it quits. Vania taught him a lot about love and relationship. She taught him that relationships are hard but if they are willing to make it work, they will grow old with each other. She taught him to become the man he always wanted to be, and he grew into the man that she had always dreamed of.
I learn a lot from the couples I meet and I love to hear about their love stories. From Charles and Vania I learned that we can’t always determine if we are meant to spend a lifetime with someone based on the good things we learn about each other, but when things get rough, and we plough through it, that’s when we know that that someone is really worth our efforts.
Charles and Vania tied the knot under the clear Bali sky on a beautiful day. They said their “I do” on a cliff overlooking the ocean at Villa Bayu Sabbah, followed by a joyful celebration with close friends and relatives. It was a lovely day indeed.
Thank you, Charles and Vania, for being such a sweet and lovely couple. I wish you a lifetime of happiness in your married life!
Cheers,
Jan
