Hong Kong has always draws out whatever artistic side I have in me. The vibes I got from standing in the vibrant city seems to challenge me to capture every corner of it. I love the hectic city scene, the colorful trams and the beautiful bay captured from Stanley Street. And by crossing on the ferry to the old city of Macau, it’s as if I’ve entered another world, and I instantly fell in love with the remnants of the Portuguese culture and the vintage buildings. I think that this is the best part of shooting while traveling. We can explore so much and capture much more than we’ve expected to find.

I’m sure that William and Tiffany feels the same way about Hong Kong and Macau as I do. For a planner like William, who calculates every step and what comes after, exploring the city on a whim was a fairly new (and can I say exciting?) experience for him. While Tiffany, on the other hand, was having a great time exploring the city and was happy the whole way. I think that it was her endless laughter and giggles that relaxed her soon-to-be-husband. And it was that chemistry that allowed for some pretty awesome shots.

Thank you, William and Tiffany, for trusting me to shoot your pre-wedding portraits. I wish you both a wonderful journey together as husband and wife.

All the best,
Jan
