For the last two weeks, I've been on the road traveling with my clients visiting Tokyo, LA, Vegas, San Francisco, New York (i'm currently here), and London. While my friends Ivan Mario and Edward Suhadi (with the help of Kinsky, Faustine, Evy, Billy, Christina, and I'm guessing many more) are busy preparing for the upcoming "Show and Tell" Workshop in Bandung. We are so looking forward to the event next weekend, making new friends, and learning from each other. By the way, the image is my view looking out my window in Soho, NYC, which I thought is perfect for this post :)
I've been asked to do photography workshops in a few other cities, Singapore and Sydney, among others. I'm sure one day we'll get to it. For now, all our efforts are focussed to make this one in Bandung a success. Someone once ask me, why bother creating new competition? I just don't see it that way. My dream is to see my fellow photographer friends be successful in pursuing their passion. It's not easy, but it's possible. Nothing easy is worth pursuing anyway. But looking back to the path we chose, I'm glad we did it. To be able to say I'm doing what I love and get paid for it, is best of both world. And this weekend, we'll be sharing the 'how and why' we do what we do.
Come and be inspired. Remember registration is closing in three days. Contact Kinsky at 0819 08777700, Faustine at 0811 9931171, and Evy at 0816 139 1059 to book a seat. We promise you'll get your money worth :)
