Life has a funny way for surprises. Agung and Anita’s families have known each other for the longest time, but Agung and Anita didn’t know each other. They know the members of each other’s inner circle and yet their paths have never crossed each other’s before. Until one day, as if it was somehow pre-arranged by the universe, they met.

On their first date, Agung planned on taking Anita to a fancy restaurant, to woo and impress her. He arrived dapperly dressed from head to toe at her doorstep, and she greeted him with a smile that made him weak at the knees. Just as they were heading out, five to ten minutes down the road, he got a flat. What a way to kill a first date, he thought. So he got out of his car and changed the tires. He was probably the best looking mechanic Anita has ever seen, and that left a bigger impression on her than the fancy restaurant he had planned on earlier in the evening. I mean, a dude has got to know how to change a tire, right?

For their pre-wed concept, we tried to slip in some of the things that make it uniquely them. Who knew that behind the boy-next-door look of his, he’s got some seriously tough-guy hobby? That’s right – we even flew in his big bike from Semarang to Jakarta especially for the occasion. And the shot at Sushi Tei, that’s just one of the many places they visit on their dates. I can tell they’re really into the food there. I left it to them to order and what came was enough for eight people until the tables could hardly accommodate for it. It was really fun!

Agung and Anita, you both are made for each other. I can just feel it! Have an awesome marriage!
