When I first met Ardi & Anindia, I knew they are not the typical couple. Ardi is a detective, a real one, much like a modern day Sherlock Holmes. At a glance Anindia has this adorable and sweet impression, kinda look like "Michelle Rodriguez" Indonesia version. A little later I find her much more than a pretty girl. She's more like Lara Croft who's into guns and action, with her favorite movie Fast & Furious. So we set out for a fresh concept, one I have never tried before. None of those romantic kissing scenes, we're on for hardcore action.

Ardi & Anindia really owned the characters they portray. With every scene, they made it as if it was a real battlefield. Sometimes they add a twist of their silliness which made the shot a keeper. We shoot in a few different places. The first one was in airbase, not for public, so we have the freedom to come up with all sorts of ideas. I remember Anindia initially wanted to shoot as they fly on a helicopter in Batam, that would have been cool, but we can't make it due to their busy schedules. She wasn't kidding when she said she love Airsoft Gun. That day she brought with her a range of guns she normally plays with, and feels very much at home. During the forrest scene, while running she fell hard, but to my surprise she got up quickly and continued running as if the film is still rolling. Ardi was saying that if it's him that fell, most likely she's the one who will help him up.

I'm utterly grateful to witness the dynamics of relationships. Being a wedding photographer, we get to do more than just take a picture. I see how couples fall in love, endure challenges together, and finally gather the courage to say "I do" to the one person for the rest of their lives. Though it's just a beginning, don't forget how we start will set the course of many years to come. So to all Ardi & Anindia, stay in love always. Yes it's a battlefield out there, but as long as you have each other, nothing else matters.

Once again congratulations on your wedding. Thank you for having me part of your special day.
