I met Budi & Fosa months before their photo session. We chat a little bit, trying to get to know them and what they have in mind for their portraits. Often times, when left with too much freedom I'll come up with the craziest idea. Ha ha but not in this case. Fosa clearly wanted something more elegant, something classic, dreamy & romantic. With that brief, we started preparing for the shoot.
When I found out that Budi & Fosa are from Salatiga, a small town in Central Java, I thought it would have been cool to shoot there. Is it just me or my curiosity in new places that fascinates me? I'm sure my photographer buddies can relate to that. Instead of Salatiga, Fosa wanted to do the photo shoot in Singapore. No complaint to that. Singapore has so many interesting places to explore. Been there so many times, still find it a joy to shoot in the island state. Partly because I can revisit my favorite food joints ha ha :)
Fosa is a natural in front of the camera. She knows how to move around and makes every shot look so elegant. After a quick warm up, Budi got the rhythm of it too. Thumbs up to Budi for keeping up with the pace, even though he wasn't feeling well. At the end of the night, I felt bad forcing him to a 'few' more shots...you know how photographers always says 'ok one more shot', ha ha what it means is we wanted to shoot more more more :)
In two more days, you will exchange your vows and live a new life as husband and wife. So for the next 48 hours, relax & enjoy these images :)
