We've been blogging quite a few overseas pre-wedding photos, now it's time to show more photos taken in Jakarta. I'm constantly challenged to create one of a kind photos for the couple, no matter where we shoot it. Creativity shouldn't be bounded by the location or spectacular dresses. So here goes Felix & Jelie's pre-wedding photos.
When I first met Felix, he came alone without Jelie. Ok..this is rather odd. Typically the groom is not that excited or into the photo shoot as much as the bride. Well after the first meeting, i found Felix is not the typical guy. He came prepared with his camera, shows me what kind of photos he has in mind. I love his ideas! Instantly we agreed to shoot their pre-wedding in his factory. We found that grunge look fits right for oldies carpenter concept. Jelie even wore her grandma's dress :) I love love this series.
I learned that for a pre-wedding photo to be successful, it's a team work between the photographer, the make up artist, stylist, and most of all the couple. Felix & Jelie's collaborated with excitement for this shoot, it shows how their efforts paid off :)
