I've shot pre-wedding in both Las Vegas and HongKong before, both are my favorite city to shoot. But never have i dreamed to shoot in both locations for the same couple. So when Andy & Methilda decided to go for this idea, I'm thrilled beyond words. Packed my bags and ready for a rolling good times.

For the last five years Andy has been dating Methilda, though there were those awkward long distance two years in between. As busy as he is, Andy still makes time to be romantic for her, whether he's by her side or thousand of miles away. She told me of one Valentine when she was still working in Perth, Andy gave her the sweetest surprise. He knew he couldn't be there, but that's not an excuse, instead he came up with a brilliant idea. He hired someone to wear a cat custom, go to Methilda's office, bringing chocolates and roses, then sing the song "I knew I loved you". One memorable Valentine :) Knowing Andy, I think he has more surprises up his sleeve.

This trip to Vegas, we found lots of new places to shoot. I love it so much, that I have scheduled another Vegas trip for next year. To most tourist, Vegas means the Strip, casinos, and shows. But we found more than that, the Neon Museum is a must see, where they have old neon junkyard collected from all over the city. The variety and colors are astounding, i walked back and forth circled the place five times, each time amazed at the collection. Then there's the ghost town, a short drive out of Vegas. These towns are abandoned old mining towns all over Nevada. Obviously we didn't meet any ghost. But for a town to have only eight inhabitants, that quality as a ghost town to me. Imagine you are the only family in town. Some areas reminded me of that movie "The Book of Eli" ha ha :)

This trip was a special one. I even get to shoot their parents too. How cool is that?! I know you've seen quite a few pre-weddings, but for parents to have their portraits taken again...that's something new. Once again, big thanks to Andy, Methilda and all your family too for trusting me and making me part of your family. I really enjoyed the experience. Count me in for your next family holiday :)
