As I hear them telling me the story of how they met, I noticed how Ricky looked at her. His eyes tell it all, even if our conversation was on mute, I could still tell that they're in love. No doubt about it. This is how the story goes. He was so nervous when they first met, trying to look his best, changed a few times just in case the colors don't match. Their first hello was witnessed by their family, all waited expectantly how this would turn out. Ricky & Erika often credited Blackberry for their relationship. Nights of BBM chats way into the morning got them acquainted as if they've known each other for years. Casual chats soon turn into something more. I remembered Ricky telling me that he quickly booked the venue for their wedding, not long after he met her. He said, he just knew it has to be Erika.

Listening to sweet stories like this is part of the perks of being a wedding photographer. And yes of course traveling to Scotland for their pre-wedding too :) When we decided to go to Scotland for their pre-wedding earlier this year, none of us has been there before. Google came to the rescue. Also a list of movies that inspired us to pick Scotland like Made of Honor, Leap Year, PS I love you...though we later found out the last two movies were actually filmed in Ireland.

When we arrived in Edinburgh on a beautiful early summer morning, we were quickly impressed by how charming the city is. We just knew we had to shoot in Edinburgh on the first day. There's no city like it, with gothic architectures (castle and churches), ghost tour (yup, we were surprised too), and a beautiful garden at the heart of the city. Most of the photo location are within walking distance from our lovely Hotel Missoni. The next day we ventured out a few hours drive north to Eilean Donan Castle, as we drove pass Loch Ness we constantly peered out the window hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous lake monster. Ha ha....not this time, or else we would have taken some shot and made headlines. We totally love the scenery and fresh air along the countryside! But most of all, we had such a good time with Ricky & Erika.

Once again congratulations of your wedding...wedding pics and video coming soon :)
