Romeo really lives up to his name. All those stories we heard about Romeo and Juliet, seems to have reincarnated into this modern version of love story.
Romeo first met Faye years ago in Boston. According to him it was love at first sight. There's something about Faye that captivated him. It wasn't until she visits him in HongKong that they went out on their first date. Since then they have been dating for the last 12 years. And you know what, he proposed to her every single year, and she said NO.
Some of those proposal attempts were casual. Then 3 years ago, with the help of Faye's sister JJ, they planned an elaborate Birthday dinner for Faye. In front of family and friends, Romeo gathered his courage and said all the things he loves about her, then down on one knee with a ring in his hand, he asked her to marry him. To everyone's surprise, Faye turned him down. I can't imagine what a blow it must have been for him. But I'm not Romeo , the real Romeo kept his cool and just doesn't give up. His patience finally paid off after a few more attempts. This is a story of love, patience, and perseverance...thumbs up for Romeo!
Please don't think of Faye as the evil one, she's not. She loves Romeo with all her heart. It's just that she knows her own timing, when she's ready for marriage. And there's no point rushing that life changing decision. I love the way she shows her love to him. She not the typical girl, who's proper and sweet. Well I've known her for a while now, inside her lives a party animal who can turn a boring party into one you'll never forget. You rock girl!!
