Last summer we had a wonderful time shooting for Eri & Brenna in Paris. I was on my month long stay in the city of romance, soaking in all the atmosphere, observing what couples do, and I have to say that 'romantic' feeling is contagious. All that inspires this shoot for Eri & Brenna, who wanted something casual yet elegant and romantic. I know it's not easy to combine all those in a shoot, but if you get to know them, they just knew how to pull it off naturally.
I knew Brenna and her family from a while back. So when she first announced that she's getting married, we were jumping up and down super happy for her. Eri is one lucky man. Yes he's kind, warm, and funny plus a little bonus he's good looking too. So when I first met them together I knew we'd have a great time shooting their pre-wedding. It's that little chemistry I see in couples, sometimes the way he look at her, or the way she holds his hand that speaks louder than words that they're in love.
With no specific location in mind for their photo session, they really leave it up to me to show them around. Knowing that Eri is a foodie just like me, I knew he would love this little place "Da Rosa" in Latin Quarter that serves the perfect Jambon Iberico. Then we roamed around St. Germain before heading to Notre Dame. I felt like a tour guide, showing them a slice a Paris....but more than that we also captured their intimate moments. So one day when they return to Paris, the city means a lot more than just shops and museums, but also a witness to their love story.
Once again congratulations on becoming Mr & Mrs. We wish you a lifetime of romantic dates, and loving each other more and more. Hugs :)
