That was exactly how i felt when my younger sister asked me to photograph her pre-wed session. She just got engaged to a guy i barely knew...
Stella is just two years younger than me and i have fond memories of our childhood days. She is a perky and an enthusiastic individual, innocent at heart, a kind and gentle soul.
Mixed feelings…
I was feeling both excited and uneasy at the same time. Capturing intimacy between strangers is easy, but when your subject is your own sibling, that seems to change everything.
I am glad that i did it though. The session gave me an opportunity to catch up life with my sister, to find the great guy that Jimmy is, and to witness their special chemistry firsthand. I thank God that my sister has found her right man. I haven’t seen my sister laughed that much and that hard before. Jimmy is definitely something else.
Can’t wait for their upcoming wedding next year! Gonna be epic!
