Inspired by Marie Antoinette, we set out to capture the elegance of that era for Jeff & Cecil's pre-wedding. Of course with a little modern twist thrown in the mix, or else Jeff would have to wear a wig ;) ha ha..i'm sure he that's something he wouldn't do. When Cecil came to us with that idea, we knew the perfect location have to be in the Grand Trianon or the Petit Trianon, either one was used as Marie Antoinette's castles in Versailles. You know the saying, be careful what you wish for, you might actually get it. That's exactly what we got, a romantic shoot in the Grand Trianon!
There's something about Versailles that makes one feel like a royalty. The grandeur of that era still lives on today. We've been there several times now, but still the sight of the castles and beautiful garden is still jaw-dropping. But I kept reminding myself not to be distracted by the beauty of the architecture and focus more on the story of Jeff & Cecil. I'm convinced it's more than just the immaculate dresses, the location, and make up that makes these images come alive. It has to be them, their story, their chemistry that adds that magical touch to making these images a classic favorite.
