"All I want for Christmas is you" I think that's what Angela said in her heart. Last Christmas, I had the pleasure of shooting a lively and intimate wedding in Ayana Bali. Stunning bride + funky groom + bridesmaids that look like models + big blue sky + happy faces = totally awesome wedding! Everything went perfectly. It seems like Santa's little helper had something to do with this.
It's a feeling I cannot describe when a bride wears her wedding gown, it's seems almost magical. That morning when she stepped into her gown, Angela's bridesmaids immediately hugged her, smiled and then tears of joy started to roll down their cheeks. Her room felt like an emotional roller coaster ride. Happy for her, yet sad to loose a fellow single ladies club. Sort of bitter sweet all mixed in. Guys however has their own way to congratulate a fellow buddy on his wedding day. Guys don't rave about how cool the groom look, no tears, no drama. Instead they kept joking all day, finding new things to amuse themselves, tease each other, get busy helping out with this and that. Guys are just not that emotional, but you know they're always there when you need them.
I love shooting for Agus & Angela! They look cool & tough on the outside, but every time they get a chance to cuddle up, they would. By the way don't let his tattoos fool you, Agus is quite the romantic. It's the way they look at each other that speaks louder than words.
