From the beginning, Kaleb & Ribka wanted to have their pre-wedding photos taken in Japan. They are so obsessed with anything Japanese. From comic books, songs, movies, culture and of course Japanese food. We have been so looking forward to that session as well, but our plans changed when awful tragedy strikes Japan. Instead we came up with another plan, shooting in Jakarta & Paris without losing the 'cheerful & sweet' feeling found in Japanese comics. Here's their first session shot in Jakarta, our very own Axioo studio.
Their proposal story has to be one of the most romantic ever. Kaleb put weeks of effort in planning how he'll go on one knee and ask the question. With the help of a friend, he published this elaborate book, filled with their stories, dating moments, and that's also where he writes his heart out, expressing how much he loves her. That beautifully design book was then presented to Ribka at a surprise dinner. As she read each page, her tears began to roll. When it comes to the last page, she found a ring neatly tucked inside a hidden compartment in the book, with the words "Will you marry me?". At that same time, Kaleb was down on his knees asking the same question. Of course she said Yes!! To her surprise, their friends who has been secretly taping that one of a kind proposal, jumped out from hiding and congratulated the newly engaged couple.
Kaleb, good job in setting the bar even higher now for guys to plan their proposal. I know it's not easy, but i'm sure as guys we are creative enough to think of a thousand and one ways to express how much we love her.
