Black and White is classic. It is not just another trend of the art development through the history. It's timeless.
For Paula and Teddy Portrait book, we came out with a simple black and white design concept, playing with typography. The best part is the use of chemical embossed printing using UV furnish for the typography treatment. We love it :) It is a technique for printing material with a raised 3-dimensional appearance by using two types of varnish with different properties – OP (overprint) UV varnish (commonly referred-to as OP varnish) and gloss UV varnish – to create an embossed effect with offset printing.
The last photo: it's the Classic Framed canvas of our pretty bride, Cynthia, looking dazzling, elegant and shoesless, sort of giving an idea of who she really is, an outgoing, outspoken, fun girl :) This piece is finalized with a sparkles of the swarovski crystals hot ironed on the dress and the hair piece. This kind is called a mixed media art installation piece. It could be any media such as : paints, dried flowers, ribbons and so many more.
We chose the black and white stripe wall, combined with the black and white stripe puff sofa to give some 3 dimensional effect. Hope it will give you inspirations for your wall at home as well as for decoration for your wedding reception :) We will be posting many more blogs on design, stay tune :)
