When I count my blessings..this is one of them. We are blessed to have a constant flow of unique clients who's ideas, story and personality make each photo session so one of a kind, especially on Roy & Angel's wedding. Way before their wedding we met to discuss their crazy idea for the photo booth --> a mug shot in a police station! From then on, I've been looking forward to this wacky Bandung wedding.

In the morning, Roy & his buddies starts the day with Star Wars action, light saber and Darth Vader. His obsession over all things StarWars led to the cabinet full of George Lucas' imagination. On the other side of town, Angel is preparing herself to be his bride. She's elegant yet spontaneous, artistic and funny too..the kind of bride that's so full of expression. I love capturing her every move. I heard for most other days, she's not the typical girly girl...but today she is a stunning bride. Being a fellow photographer herself, she knows exactly the kind of photos she wants. I'm thankful for the trust she gave us to shoot whatever catches our eyes, and tell their story from our perspective.

For their ceremony, the same pastor who blessed their parents' marriage decades ago was there on the later to officiate their wedding...how sweet is that? As we were driving away from the church, their classic getaway car got quite a bit of attention. Not to mention they decided to have the top down, and parade their joy through the main street of Bandung...as if shouting their union to the whole town. Bandung is a rather small city, it seems like everyone knows each other. I'm imagining what the tweets were like that day, ha ha could they have been the trending topic in Bandung?

These guys know how to party. Guests from little kids to grandmas party all night long. I especially like the photo booth session we did on their wedding. Playful friends came with funny faces, showing off their alter ego, striking poses and bringing home a memorable prints from the photo booth. Jan was shooting that booth and had the best of times. After dinner, guests got on their feet and danced until midnight. For most after party, typically the crowds were only friends of the bride & groom. This time around more friends from their parents decided to join in the fun too, after all it's a celebration to remember !!
