Who could ever forget Jonathan's elaborate proposal story? On Citra's birthday he surprised her with numerous boxes each one describing who he is and what she's getting into and then finally when she opened the last box, on bended knee he ask her hand in marriage. Thumbs up for how he charmed Citra into saying 'Yes'. From that moment on they have been planning for this day. Their wedding day was nothing short of spectacular.

I love every single details of their wedding. From the early morning, i knew it's going to be a great day. It's that vibe you get from seeing the bride glowing and excited for the day to slowly unfold. Citra is stunning! Her smile lights up the room, and especially when she has her wedding dress, that really sets the atmosphere. Here comes the bride :)

It's my first time seeing the guests packed the Cathedral Church in Jakarta, that's at least 700 people witnessing their union. This has to be the most magnificent Catholic church in Jakarta, even without any decoration. Imagine how beautiful it is when it's fully decorated with fresh flowers. I love it when the sermon is personal, not just some template wedding sermon that you'll easily forget. This one is personal, heartfelt and funny.

When it comes to large (2000+ guests) wedding reception dinner, Mulia Hotel seems to be the most popular venue. Time and again Nefi decor elegantly transforms the ballroom into a magical place, without losing the space for the guests to mingle around. With a guest list in the thousands, typically that will leave the bride & groom with just shaking hands and receiving congratulations all night long. But for Jonathan & Citra they manage to squeeze a time for just for the two of them to savor the night, enjoying their first dance. I love that intimate moment. Guests whipped out their cameras hoping to steal some magic moment to share with their friends.

I've been waiting to shoot their wedding day ever since we first met to chat about their pre-wedding ideas. I knew it's going to be awesome, and I was right..it was better than all of us imagined.
