It's been a month since our trip to Seattle & Vegas shooting for Wenny & Ari. This is a record breaking trip of 3 days shoot without any breaks for jet lag and doing it solo. I love the challenge, but missed Fen (my wife)!

I love Seattle, still miss it once in a while. As soon as i land, grab a car at Hertz (super fast service...love the whole renting experience, made it all so easy) then head to the hotel to pick up Wenny & Ari. First thing first, lunch at 5 Spot cafe in Queen Anne, really good...but the portion is way too big.

Next stop, the world famous Seattle Pike Market. I used to come here often for breakfast, back in the day. If you're there, try out Le Panier they have the best pastries around. Come early, see the city in a different light. I was surprised the market is still alive in the afternoon!

Of course there's the Starbucks' first coffee shop. Join the queue and drop in for a sip of Starbucks Pike Market roast.

I love you too..he he ;)

What's next? We roamed around the Pioneer Square for a while, by the way this is not the safest place in town...but its worth trying out.

The weather was perfect all day long. We were told that this is the
first day after several weeks of cloudy and rainy weather. So lucky :)

We hang out at Alki beach for sunset. It's beautiful! For those of you who gets to see sunsets everyday, you're blessed.

Thanks guys for making this looks so warm & romantic. This shot was taken at 1 am with strong chilly wind, i won't forget this. Thanks guys for making this looks so warm & romantic. This shot was taken at 1 am with strong chilly wind, i won't forget this.

2nd day: After all night shooting, none of us woke up early. I had a chance to drop in to my favorite Thai restaurant (dunno if it qualify as a restaurant, it's really small). It's simple the best in town. Try out Thai Tom. I guessed Tom used to own the place and rumor has it that it's sold to somebody else. Everytime i'm there i had to queue, this time it's no different. But it's all worth it. I can't decide which one to have for lunch, so i ended up ordering 3 items, the spicy Tom Yam soup w coconut milk (forgot the real name), Pad Thai, and a Swimming Rama. I'm telling you the portion is too generous, it can feed 2 people per portion and i ordered 3. So there's no way, i'm going to waste food. I looked left & right, finally made my pick on who to share my soup with. Made friends with this Seattle guy, who's also a big Thai Tom fan. Food always bring people closer!

The best time to shoot in University of Washington is during the summer break. Simply because, there's no one around. It's like having the whole campus for ourselves.

Las Vegas was super hot!! It was 104 degrees F (about 40 C) So toasted all day! But since it was that hot, we started our shooting after 10 pm.

So i had so much free time, got to figure out what to do. At first i wanted to watch Le Reve at Wynn, but all the good seats are gone. So i ended up pampering myself in the Bellagio Spa, and had a five course dinner at Michael Mina. It's a good break for the shooting, i wish we can do that often ;p

Vegas comes alive at night. The lights and color are so captivating. We ended up shooting until about 2 am. Packed my bags and left Vegas at 5 am.
